Enshu Daimyo Procession
The Enshu Daimyo Procession is a true re-enactment of the post officials, official inns, and local leaders greeting the Sankinkotai (a policy requiring alternate-year residence in Edo for feudal lords, called daimyo in Japanese) of the daimyo when he stopped to stay at the 28th of Tokaido's 53 stations.
The evening features a mysterious dance is performed in the dim light of firewood.
