
Okegayanuma
With an area of 7.43 hectares and a circumference of 1.7 kilometers, this is one of Japan's top natural habitats for dragonflies.
This area is home to 70 different species, approximately a third of all dragonfly species in Japan, and also hosts a rich variety of wild birds and aquatic plants.
Okegayanuma has been designated a nature conservation area by Shizuoka Prefecture.
